Breaking Par is proud to introduce an application we call "Mail Scheduler". It allows people using the Lotus Notes mail client to schedule messages for later delivery, or repeatedly send messages on a schedule.

Who would use mail scheduler?

Frankly, anybody would use it. But here are some examples:

It's Tuesday, and a manager hears an announcement in a staff meeting. But the manager is told that the announcement can't be made public until Friday at noon. The manager gets out of the meeting, drafts the message to go to his/her team, and schedules it to be sent out Friday at noon. A manager has been sending out weekly reminders to his/her team, reminding them to fill out their weekly time cards. Instead of spending the time to create and send that message every week, the manager uses Mail Scheduler to repeatedly send the same message each Friday morning. A secretary has been sending out monthly reminders for people to fill out expense reports. This message is drafted once through the Mail Scheduler application, and sent out on the 1st of every month.
